Hello! Here are some pictures from thanksgiving. I left my camera at Mike and Shannon's, so that is why I am posting them a little late. I like these pictures. All the women in the kitchen and the men watching tv. =)

Rob is doing really well. We went to his cardiologist this morning. He wants to get an mri done, so we'll be going back down there for that. We're not sure when yet. The cardiologist was happy to see Rob. He said that his mri scan in august before we left was very complicated and he was very happy to see that Rob made it through the whole procedure.

Rob's inr levels are finally leveled out. He will still get his blood tested every week just to make sure though. So all is going well here!

No More Shots!

Hello! This morning was Rob's last shot! He is very happy about that. His inr levels are better and that's why no more shots. His blood pressure and heart rate has been more consitent through out the whole day, so that's good. Now all Rob's pills are taken in the morning. It's so nice.

Everything is going well here. Last night we played card games. Rob is still not sleeping that great. He has had some good nights though.

Hello! Just wanted to let everyone know Rob is doing well. He has been improving everyday. We went to the doctor today. He had his blood taken for his inr levels. We'll find out about that tomorrow. The doctor increased his new medicine a little bit. His blood pressure and heartbeat have been more consistent but it just needs to be a little lower.

His motorcycle is running. It still needs some work, but Rob did a really good job.

Hello! Everything is going well for Robbie. His new medicine seems to be working better than his other medications. His blood pressure has stayed stable through out the day. The only sad thing is that he still has to take shots. =(

Here is Rob's motorcycle! He just got a cirvo gear so he can drive it today. He doesn't put the guy on it until he knows it drives straight without the guy. It looks really good. He did a good job at the stickers and painting.

I won!

Today has been good! I won two games today. I NEVER win. So I'm happy. Rob is doing well. Except for him losing. =) We got a call back for his inr. He is on a higher dosage of coumiden now because his inr hasn't changed that much. So he'll get tested again next thursday. He still has to give himself shots. =( We asked about inr testing at home. Since it is so new, the doctor hadn't heard of anything about it. He said that it would be more organized to test at the hospital since it goes right into the computers. It really hasn't been a problem going into the hospital, so Rob isn't too sad. It would be more convenient for us, but not the doctors.

The new medicine seems to be working well. We'll see about later tonight.

We went for a walk today. It's good to get Rob up. His back hurts him to walk too much, so it's hard to get him up and walking.

Right now he's airbrushing his motorcycle. He loves his new mask. He wants to get more paint soon.

As for me, I am liking my gymnastics job so far. It is a different prespective for me since I'm not the one doing the gymnastics. Hopefully it will work out. I just have to learn all the different drills and stuff. I am loving wearing windpants and sweatshirts to work. =)

Hello Everyone!

Rob is doing well! We went to the doctor today. He had a medication changed so hopefully it will work better for him. It is a slower release pill so it will help with his heartbeat and blood pressure. If this works, he'll only have to take pills in the morning and none at night. That would be nice. I find it easier to remember in the morning than at night. Not as much going on.

Rob is still having trouble sleeping. He has his little nest of pillows on the bed and he likes to rotate them. It's funny. He had a system in the hospital too, so it's neat to see him change them all around.

The other day, Rob and I went for the longest walk we've been on since we've been home. He had to sit and rest for a little bit in the middle of the walk, but it was nice to see him up and about. He's been able to drive too. I drive when he's really tired, but we all know Rob... driving is his favorite.

Airbrushing

Hello! Today was nice and relaxing. Rob had a gift dropped off at our front door today. It's a cool mask for painting with. So he doesn't breathe in the fumes. Here is Rob airbrushing his little motorcycle. So far he is doing a good job. It's neat to see him paint.

Rob's health is doing well. He still has to give himself shots. I feel bad every morning and night. He really doesn't like those. So we're hoping Rob's inr levels will go up so he doesn't have to do that.

Hello! Here are some pictures of Rob and I and our new car. It's perfect for the two of us. =) It was fun to put it all together. It's a cool car.

We had a fun day. I am going to start to coach gymnastics on monday and friday nights. I wanted to find a job where I could still spend time with Rob and take care of him. =) So we'll see how this goes. I'm excited.

We couldn't put pictures up of his little motorcycle. It's in pieces. He said he'll start to airbrush it tomorrow.

A long day

yesterday was the longest day that Rob and I have had since we've been home. Neither of us felt like doing anything. A walk to the mailbox was nice and relaxing. =) We got Rob's results back and his inr is at 1.5 So he is going in the right direction. They increased his medicine even more since it hasn't changed a lot. He still has to take his shots. He has become pretty good at giving himself them.

He took apart his cute motorcycle. You can tell i'm writing this and not Rob because it's cute. =) He got paint for his air brush and is going to paint it all cool. I want him to air brush my nails and make them all pretty like but the motorcycle first i guess.

So Rob seems to be doing well. We would like to travel someday but definitely not until next year. Rob should be getting his flu and pneumonia shot next week.

Inr Levels

Hello, Just wanted to update a little bit. Rob got his blood tested on monday. They called yesterday and said they were at 1.2. So that is lower than thursdays blood tests. He is going in today to get his blood tested. We're not sure what is going on. So hopefully we'll be able to figure out soon. The doctor did say it usually takes coumiden to take 5 days to kick in. He has been taking more every other day. Other than that, Rob is doing well. His blood pressure and heartbeat are doing much better!
