Mayo

Hello! As many of you know Rob, Mike and I went to the ER at the Mayo clinic on friday. Rob wasn't feeling right in his right side of his neck. We drove down there and they took an ultrasound and a ct scan. He does have an aneurysm in his right common carotid artery. Apparently he's had this. The ct scan in January and the Ct scan on friday showed it has not changed sizes. That is a good thing. His other aneurysm in is back of his neck has not changed either.
We went down yesterday to meet with the surgeon. The surgeon does not want to do surgery right now. He is concerned with the spot being very difficult and doesn't want to risk anything unless the aneurysm is larger. We decided we're going to send all his scans and things down to Dr Coselli in Houston to see what he says.


After the appointment we were able to go out to Noodles with Jen and landon. Brian came down with us and drove home for us. He was a huge help!

My new pencil

Rob and I had the day off today. We went down to the Hobby shop in Edina and I found this awesome pencil. I have collected pencils since I was in 3rd grade. I have a lot, but none this big! I put it next to a normal size pencil in case you couldn't figure that out =)

Hot Chocolate

Many of you might not know that Rob drinks hot chocolate every night. Last night I decided to help him with his drink because he was tired. I started to walk to the kitchen from our room and Rob immediately followed. I thought this was funny since I was trying to be nice and make his hot chocolate for him so he could stay in the room. Little did I know, I had quite the complicated procedure to do. It all started with the water. It has to be exactly on the second line of the Cocomotion. It took me two tries to get it to the line. I measured the 1/4 cup of hot chocolate and added it. I have a canister for flour, sugar and hot chocolate on my counter. I turned on the Cocomotion and learned I needed to use our heat gun to tell when it turned to 120 degrees. That is the optimum temperature for Rob to drink. Once reaching the temperature, I filled his glass about half way and turned the Cocomotion back on for the rest of the hot chocolate. Rob drinks the first glass and then comes back for the rest. I am impressed at how Rob has his hot chocolate drinking down to a science. It was quite the learning experience!
