We just got word that Rob will be moving soon. Finally =) He's going back to the floor he was on before. Rob has had some food today like one and half tacos, but really hasn't been eating much. We're hoping he'll start eating soon. We're figuring out pain medication right now too. He can't take his dilaudid drip home, so he needs to get off that. He had his femoral line taken out and it didn't bleed as much as we all thought it would.

Progress! Glad things are moving along....always a good sign. I'm sure you'll back soon.
Bobby has been obsessed with that Numa Numa song--instead of calling it by the real title (Dragostea din tea) he calls the song "Dancing Shrubba". He listens to it over and over and dances away!
Love and miss you.

Marla, if you want comments you gotta milk it. You gotta say, "he was bleeding everywhere!" Or things like, "His legs were so messed up, I told him, 'Rob, unless you can flip upside-down and walk on your hands, you ain't gettin outta here alive!'"
Yeah... stuff like that. :)
We happy to see the progress that's being made and hope you're home very soon. Keep hanging in there.
No dilaudid drip on wheels around your place?
bummer.
Good news / bad news about the change of floor.
Good in that it means you will be able to get out of there sometime.
Bad because you like the other nurses on the current floor better.
So glad that things are going good for Rob.
Two tacos, huh? Like, REAL tacos, or the ones from Taco Bell? Actually, Rob's my kind of guy. Happy Meals, Tacos... yep, that's me! I got a Happy Meal yesterday (I didn't eat the fries) and I wanted the cute little stuffed bear but Abbey wanted the Superman toy so I got that one. Bummer! I'm glad that you are continuing to take baby steps to get back home. We all want him to go home and STAY home this time!! Love to ALL.
So happy that you are one step closer to coming home, Rob. Tom sends his love to you, too.
Grandpa Hogan was over yesterday to watch, with those of us not going to Montana for the horse trip, the frustration, aggravation, and vexation of the guys and girls trying to get four motorcycles on a trailer to pull behind the motorhome. By the time they left, three hours late, sweat was pouring off all involved. Sometimes it is too much work to go on a trip. BUT. . .
The rest of us sure enjoyed coming indoors to air-conditioning.
We love you all and so many people are praying for you all. My cousin, Donna Clark Spaeth and, Rogene Clark and family, have had you on their prayer lists and continue to do so.
I better close my epistle before the webmaster, Brian, sends me a notice to curb my long messages. Love to you all, Auntie Mary
