Stable

Hello, I'm sitting in Rob's room. It' s so nice to have wifi here.  Rob is doing well. He looks like he's sleeping, but you never know. He is stable. They are letting him eat, but he hasn't eaten yet. He had a headache, so he got some Mountain dew.  Rob will get an ultrasound today on his incision to see if there is anything moving. We're hoping the bleeding has stopped. We're not sure what the game plan is for everything. We're just glad we're in the best place again.

On a different note, Denise, Nicole and I got to see Laura Bush's plane take off yesterday. Her plane said The United States of America on it. It was pretty neat.  It was parked next to the plane we were leaving on, but we didn't get to see her. Oh well. Our medical plane used to be Don Johnson's from Miami Vice. It was probably really nice when he had it. It was tiny and the chairs weren't too comfortable. But we got here, so we're grateful for that.

Dear Marla & Rob: August 4, 2006 Saturday
We were so very sorry to hear about all the things that are going on with Rob. He continues in our thoughts and prayers daily.
We're the Smiths (Ed & Marge) I don't know if you remember us or not. We just moved out here (Idaho)from Minnesota the end of December of 2006. We really miss all of your family very, very much.
We don't have the internet; but we do see our daughter Jaime, Craig and her family a few times a month, so I'm using her computer/internet here in Meridian.
Say Hi to Mary & Gordon Duncomb and their beautiful family for us okay? Please also give Denise and Michael and their family hugs for us too? Thanks! Also, please tell Mitch and Mary they also continue in our prayers. Until next week or so, we love you and your whole family so much. Also tell Rob that we love him and if possible, give him a hug for us too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love Ed & Marge Smith

We can relax a little knowing you are in good hands, Rob.

So good to hear from Ed and Marge Smith. We miss them living here in Minnesota. "Hi" to my neice, Kari and children, too.

We say "Hi" to everyone we know who posts here. It is so wonderful to know that so many people throughout the country are praying for Rob and his family. It makes a difference!

Love, Mary and Gordon Duncombe

How many people can have their plane sitting next to the First Lady's plane. That was neat.
Glad Rob is getting the pain meds that he wants/needs and has the Mt. Dew there for his headaches.
Hoping all will go good for him and all of you today.
Love
Auntie Becky and family

That'd been really cool if they had the Miami Vice music playing in the background for your plane ride....
Hope everything goes well and Rob can get some food and rest.
Love,
Melissa & family

marla, Marla, Marla... it's DILAUDID, not Dolodid. At first I was like.. they're giving Rob a dildo? (OPPS, I forget others can read this. Please explain to them who I am). Dilaudid and Mt. Dew. Hmmm, should be quite the cocktail. That's neat about the 1st Lady's plane. Les actually got to "inspect" Air Force 1 a number of years ago because of work and the Air Force 81st (I think) literally HAND POLISH the entire plane. Les said even the engine area was so clean, you could eat off of it. I, too, am glad that you are where you are. In the best place for the circumstances. I have started my fast and my focus is for Rob and all of you. I'm sure Heavenly Father is being bombarded with prayers on Rob's behalf. I believe in Miracles! BTW, Taylor took a practice test today for the MCAT (5 hours) and royally FLUNKED it. He is pretty discouraged especially since he as to take the real things this Thurs. When our loved ones hurt, we hurt right a long with them. So where's our Dilauded and Mt. Dew?
