We were just able to go see Robbie. He looks really good. (as good as you can after surgery) They were having problems with the respirator when we came in. They wanted him to lay flat and he didn't want to and was sitting up. They decided to take the respirator out and Rob looked much better. He was breathing just fine without it. We are going to let Rob sleep tonight and not go and visit. They were giving him good drugs to sleep. The nurse he had yesterday and today will have him tomorrow and he is very good to Rob.
We were able to talk to Dr Coselli after the surgery. Dr Coselli is an amazing man. He said it was very complicated and was very glad we sent him down here. It was not an easy surgery, but he came through well. We are very blessed to be able to have a hospital that has an amazing doctor and a great staff to take care of Rob.

Grandpa Hogan is so relieved as are all of us. He sends you a great big hug.
Wooo Hooo!!! I thought I'd be able to sleep with the good news, but NOT! I think I need some good drugs. Our prayers have been answered....now we need to keep saying them so that there aren't any set backs. You must all be so relieved. I hope you can sleep. So, Diane... I hear that you were kept awake last night? You needed something long enough to pound on the ceiling with. Hopefully tonight will be quieter for you. Marla, why do the call Rob, "Shrub"? Love to all, Cindy
Happy to hear good news. I can't wait until rob recovers so maybe next time we come to visit we will be able to hear his quick wit. We really missed it when we were back there. Love to you all.

Hey you guys. My mom (Marge Smith) called today and said that she heard Rob was having surgery this week. They don't have the internet up at their place so they wanted me to check out anything I could for them. Then Tanya forwarded me an email I believe Melissa sent her. I'm glad things went so well with the surgery and like everyone else said...glad the respirator is out. I can't even imagine what ya'll are going through. God bless and we will by all means keep you in our prayers!!
